State demands report on Catalan textbooks

The Secretary of State for Education, Training and Universities, Marcial Marín, has commissioned an “urgent and detailed” report on textbooks used in Catalonia, after a study claimed that texts being used by 10-12 year-olds in Catalonia display “partisan ideological” and “biased” views. The Spanish government has said it will go to court if a breach of the curriculum is confirmed.
