UK Labour party congress begins with call for unity

The British Labour Party yesterday began its annual conference in Liverpool with “a desire for change” and the aim of leader Jeremy Corbyn, “come closer” to those MPs doubtful about his renewed leadership. Corbyn said that the debate over his leadership ended on Saturday after the renewal of his mandate with almost 62% of the party vote. Skeptics feel the party is more divided than ever.
