Tenor Nekoranec, gets first prize in Liceu song contest

Twenty-four year old Czech tenor Petr Nekoranec has won the first prize in the 54th Tenor Viñas International Singing Contest, organised by the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. Second prize went to the 25-year-old Guatemalan soprano Adriana González, while third prize was awarded to the Catalan baritone Carles Pachón, 22 years old from Navàs.
