The incombustible Ventura Pons
Barcelona-born director, screenwriter and producer Ventura Pons is the new recipient of the Gaudí-Miquel Porter Award of Honour, announced yesterday. Pons has been recognized for his ”tireless commitment” and “passion for cinema”. “Any award is very welcome, but when it comes from your colleagues it's really special”, the filmmaker confessed to this newspaper yesterday.
