Espanyol face Cordoba aiming to put Getafe defeat behind them

Espanyol tonight face Cordoba in a match that sees ninth place take on the league's bottom side. Both teams go into the game with clear objectives: the Catalans want to get back to winning ways after the Getafe defeat, while the Andalusians need to turn their season around. When the two teams last played, in September, the game ended goalless. However, Espanyol coach, Sergio González, has good news with the return of forward Sergio García, as well as midfielder Víctor Sánchez and defender Diego Colotto, who missed the Getafe defeat due to suspension.
