Figueres circus festival attracts 31,500 visitors
The Elefant d'Or international circus festival in Figueres, which has seen record numbers of visitors (31,500), has awarded two Russian and one Chinese act with prizes. The winners are the Acrobatic Quartet and the Grechuskin Troupe, as well as the Xinjiang Acrobatic Troupe. It is hoped the event's success will ensure the project to build the Museum of European Circus in Figueres.
