FIFA hands Messi four-game international ban

Argentina have lost the services of Leo Messi for four games, starting with the match played last night against Bolivia in La Paz. That was the first of four internationals Messi is banned from due to a sanction imposed by FIFA's disciplinary committee for “saying insulting words” to one of the match officials in the game between Argentina and Chile last Friday. Messi was angered by one of the official's decisions and said something to him at the end of the game.
