U.S. to apply more sanctions to North Korea

Tension is rising between Washington and Pyongyang. The U.S. yesterday decided to increase sanctions against North Korea, while beginning to deploy a missile defence system in South Korea. The White House's message to Kim Jong-un's regime is that it is ready to attack at any time, even if president Donald Trump's real aim is to encourage Pyongyang to tone down its nuclear rhetoric.
