Caixa earmarks €1 million for 43 welfare projects
The Community Welfare division of the Caixa has ear-marked €974.050 to fund 43 projects to improve the quality of life of the elderly and disabled, which will benefit 20,000 people throughout Catalonia. The programme aims to prevent and respond to social isolation and promote psychosocial support to the family and caregivers of dependents, including leisure time and days off.
