Sagrera station now to be finished in 2020

The Spanish Minister of Public Works, Íñigo de la Serna, said yesterday that the work being carried out on Sagrera station in Barcelona will be finished in the third quarter of 2020, a date his ministry first mentioned in 2015, before the works were delayed for 18 months due to a legal case affecting senior managers of Adif - the public company in charge of carrying out the work - and being investigated by the anti-corruption prosecutor’s office. The initial deadline for completion of the works was 2016.
