Spain rectifies Catalan foreign investment data

.The Spanish Ministry of Economy has recalculated the Catalan foreign investment figures of €4.8 billion for March and acknowledged that the actual total volume was €5.05 billion, which is a record. The Catalan Secretary of Enterprise and Knowledge, Joan Aregio, yesterday said he was “very satisfied” with the upward revision, which is also accompanied by positive data for the first quarter of 2017. In the first three months of the year foreign investment grew 69.4%, also representing a record start to the year.
