FIMC 2017 CAMBRILS (BAIX CAMP). From July 27 to August 13

Chorus of talent in Cambrils

The seaside town of Cambrils in Tarragona hosts one of the country’s most established annual music festivals, the FIMC. This year is the 43rd edition of the Cambrils international music festival, which boasts an impressive line-up of talent from home and abroad. Between July 27 and August 13, Cambrils welcomes such big names as crooner Tom Jones (July 28), veteran Irish rock group The Cranberries (August 7), and Supertramp’s Roger Hodgson (August 11), with all concerts taking place in Cambrils’ Pinaret park at 10pm.

With more than 20,000 attendees expected to visit the festival, this year’s edition opens with a tribute to the king of pop, Michael Jackson, called Michael’s Legacy (July 27). Yet, despite the festival’s international focus, the line-up of domestic talent this year is also very strong. As well as Catalan indie band Love of Lesbian (August 4), taking to the stage will be the likes of Rosana (July 29), Gemeliers (July 30), Ana Torroja (August 5), Robe (august 6) and Jarabe de Palo, celebrating 20 years (August 10).
