Police arrest man in connection with August attacks
Catalan and Spanish police yesterday arrested a 24-year-old man in relation to the August terror attacks in Barcelona and Cambrils. The young man is of Moroccan descent and lives in his uncle’s house in the town of Baix Maestrat. According to sources close to the investigation, the man had a close relationship with a number of the terrorists who took part in the attacks, in particular Abdelbaki Es Satty, the Ripoll imam believed to be the ringleader. Two of the terror cell’s members are still being detained.
