Demonstrations against gender violence in France
Hundreds of people demonstrated yesterday afternoon in Paris against sexual and gender-based violence against women, in one of the 11 events organised in various centres in France as part of the campaign arising from the Weinstein case. The demonstrations were baptized “#MeToo in real life.” In France, 123 women were killed last year by their partners or former partners.
