Saudi corruption scandal involves 208 people

The public prosecutor’s office of Saudi Arabia announced yesterday that 208 people from the country’s political and business elite are under investigation linked to an alleged network of corruption which has embezzled at least €86 billion over decades. The prosecution said normal business and company accounts have not been affected but a number of personal accounts have been frozen.
