40 injured in Tenerife discotheque
At least 40 people were injured in the early hours of Sunday morning when the foundations of the Butterfly nightclub caved in due to a landslip. The discotheque is located near Playa de las Americas in Tenerife, one of the main tourist areas of the island in a shopping center in the town of Adeje in the south of the island. The dance floor of the main room fell into the basement area.
