The municipal business promotion agency Barcelona Activa celebrates its 30th anniversary having helped create 22,300 companies and helped 600,000 people in their search for work. Barcelona Activa began as the first business incubator in Spain. In the past eight years, the organisation has helped raise €183m in investment for new companies and entrepreneurs.
