Iberia Barcelona employees to strike at Christmas

Iberia Barcelona employees have called a strike from Dec 21 to 24 to protest “the lack of dialogue from the company’s management.” The employee representatives defend the industrial action by pointing to what they call an overload of work, with more than 7,000 hours of uncompensated free time accumulated. Up to 2,000 people could strike if all subcontracted workers are included.
