Barça with doubts over Yerry Mina January signing
Javier Mascherano’s request to leave during the winter window has created a headache for Barça, who had hoped to be focusing on signing midfielder Coutinho from Liverpool rather than on strengthening the defence. The club is still not sure about releasing the Argentine, especially as doubts still surround the incorporation of Yerry Mina from Palmeiras because he would need to adapt to both European football and also to the style of Barça, including playing out from the back.
