Venezuelan opposition earns Sakharov Prize

The European Parliament has presented the Sakharov Prize to the President of the National Assembly Julio Borges and family members representing leaders of the Venezuelan opposition who were unable to accept the prize in person. Borges dedicated the prize to the “157 young people brutally assassinated by the government during protests.”
