Man arrested for promoting jihadism
The Mossos d’Esquadra have arrested a 32-year-old Algerian national accused of an alleged crime of promoting jihadist terrorism. The investigation began in September 2016 when they police identified an active profile on social networks broadcasting messages which encouraged adepts to commit terrorist acts. Police have arrested 13 people so far this year on similar charges.
