Apple and Intel both hit by chip deficiencies

The computer giant Apple confirmed yesterday that it has recently detected safety deficiencies in microchips installed on millions of computers around the world which also affect their devices and is already preparing to remedy the situation. Apple says that all iOS devices and Mac systems are exposed to these security flaws, “though there are no known attacks affecting our customers at present.” The first company to admit an identical problem was Intel which made the problem public.
