E-government means €2.4 million saved
Citizens in the Maresme have saved €2.4 million as a whole thanks to the adaptation of many of the municipalities to the so-called e-government. According to a study released by the Consortium of Open Administration of Catalonia (AOC), by allowing citizens access to the public services on a 24-hour-a-day basis, savings are made in all areas of local government and providing greater efficiency.
