Over 300 lawyers defend swearing in at a distance
The lawyers association, Coordinadora d’Advocats Catalans, yesterday made a manifesto public signed by more than 300 lawyers in support of swearing in Carles Puidemont as Catalan president at a distance. The lawyers base their opinion on the 1948 Declaration of Human Rights and also point out that anyone chosen in free elections must be allowed to carry out their duties.
