Protest camp for the Republic begins

The protest demanding the investiture of the president, the end of 155 and the release of political prisoners began after the Speaker announced the postponement of the plenary session in Parliament on Tuesday. Most of those occupying the camp were at the Ciutadella park on Tuesday. Organisers say the camp “is a permanent mobilisation in place until the mandate of the people emerged from the polls,” is respected.
