18 Hells Angels members arrested
Members of the Catalan police force, the Mossos d’Esquadra yesterday arrested 18 members of the Hells Angels biker gang for drug trafficking, which is also related to the murder of a member of a rival gang in Castellar del Vallès in 2017. The Catalan police made eleven forced entries and searches in Sabadell, where the gang has headquarters, as well as in Sitges, Castelldefels, Gava, Vallirana i Riells and Viabrea. Some of the gang arrested are allegedly involved in the assassination last September of another biker during a fight with members of a rival gang. Hells Angels is engaged in drug trafficking and the cultivation and trafficking of marijuana, according to police sources. In 1996, the police detained 34 members of the Centurions, a branch of the Hell’s Angels, and in 2009 they arrested 22 other gang members accused of drug trafficking and assaults made on persons in exchange for money.
