Speaker delays meeting Spanish delegate Millo
The speaker of the Catalan parliament,Roger Torrent, will not for the moment at least meet the Spanish delegate to Catalonia, Enric Millo. The reason given is the lack of a response from Spanish prime minister, Mariano Rajoy, to Torrent’s offer of talks on January 22. Torrent notified Millo of his decision yesterday in a letter after the latter had asked for a meeting with the parliament speaker.
