PP to take Spanish schooling option to parliament

Communications head for the PP, Pablo Casado, yesterday announced that the party’s Catalan branch will register a parliamentary initiative for parents to choose if they want their children’s education to be in Spanish. Casado also later told the Spanish Congress that his party will try to make the initiative law. The current education legislation protects the linguistic policy in Catalan schools.
