ANC back on track

“We must restore the legitimate government and get back on the path of 28-O, which was blocked, stand up to the Spanish government to back the Republic and the all those actions necessary to bring it into being.” This, according to ANC’s Jordi Pairó, is the roadmap for the next two years. The General Assembly of the ANC overwhelmingly approved the 116 amendments that were presented in Barcelona yesterday in a meeting that lasted more than six hours. The same meeting rejected two ammendments calling for the organisation’s dissolution for not having accomplished its goals and being unable to remain sufficiently independent of the parties. Pairó also said that it was “lamentable” that two months after the election the pro-independence parties were unable to form a government.
