Gaudí’s La Pedrera gets new guided tour

The head of the Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, Marta Lacambra, summed it up yesterday: “This was the last civil building that Gaudí built and he wanted it to pay homage to nature, his main source of inspiration.” It is also this philosophy that is behind the new guided tour of La Pedrera, which hasn’t changed for the past 10 years. “We want to make the tour much more suggestive for the visitor,” said Lacambra. Nature, movement, light, all are evoked in the new project from the Grup Transversal. Its head, Eudald Tomasa, says the project comes out of an intention to make people see that La Pedrera is a masterpiece of nature. “We want the visitor to connect with the building through their emotions.”
