If Sànchez’s appeal fails, JxCat will put Turull forward

JxCat’s candidate for president, Jordi Sànchez, will find out today if the Supreme Court upholds or rejects his appeal for release. If the high court does not grant him his freedom, then JxCat will in the next few days propose swearing in former presidency minister Jordi Turull. If that happens, the investiture could take place next week, depending on the parliament speaker, Roger Torrent.
