Gas Natural sells 20% of its distribution
Gas Natural Fenosa has completed the sale of 20% of its gas distribution network in Spain to an infrastructure consortium made up of Allianz Capital Partners and the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board. The sale was yesterday authorised for 1.5 billion euros. The operation was originally announced in August. Gas Natural will keep hold of some 80% of the business.
