Sabadell Centre station reopens amid protests

State rail operator, Renfe, yesterday reopened its renovated Sabadell Centre train station amid controversy. No local dignitaries attended in protest over the presence of state representatives, including infrastructure minister, Julio Gómez-Pomar, and Spanish government delegate to Catalonia, Enric Millo. Protesters tried to block the entrances and were forcibly removed by the Catalan police.
