Domestic cost for finance charges in European Union

The European Commission yesterday proposed that all transactions in euros between EU countries would cost the same as those carried out at national level, thus extending the regulation to all members states that already has been in force between States in the Euro Zone. These will include fees for transfers, card payments or ATM withdrawals which will be classed as domestic payments.
