Inspectors confiscate illegal meat products

In Mallorca Spanish police confiscated 50 tons of frozen meat and arrested the owner and two managers of a company that had been selling meat which had passed its use-by limit to schools, hotels and restaurants on the island for at least a year and a half. The company was closed down on 16 March by order of the Ministry of Health based on a complaint made by a staff member.
