Lula’s campaign buses come under fire in south

Former president of Brazil and currently candidate in the upcoming presidential elections, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has called off his road campaign which has been subject to a violent reception in a number of towns it has visited. Yesterday campaign buses were shot at while travelling through Parana state in the south of Brazil. No one was injured but the campaign has been halted.
