Cruise season gets underway in Tarragona
The Port of Tarragona opened its cruise season Wednesday with the Port Authority of Tarragona (APT) predicting a record number of visits this year. The Saga Cruises liner Pearl II, docked in the morning and is the first of 55 ships that will visit the city this year. The figure represents an increase of 49% compared to 2017 (37 vessels) with 56% more passengers passing from 51,000 to 80,000.
