“Independence process paralysing Catalonia”: Comuns
Catalunya en Comú yesterday proclaimed itself to be the only political force able to “offer an alternative” to the two “blocks” that have paralysed the country: the pro-independence parties, which have no idea where they want to take the country and the unionists which day-by-day are “regressing into repressive policies.” Addressing the oganisational assembly, Domèmech stressed its equidistance stance, keeping in mind the municipal elections of May next year, especially as what is at stake is the formation’s main power base: the mayoralty of Barcelona.
