Applications for Guaranteed Income ignored

The commission promoting the popular legislative initiative for Citizens’ Guaranteed Income yesterday denounced the fact that there are 40,000 unresolved applications, and threatened to go on an indefinite hunger strike to demand they be addressed. Backers of the law warned that “very serious” situations are arising due to non-payment. Some stem from a lack of administrative action and others to the denial of requests without justification or delays requiring additional information.
