Caixa helps fund vaccines for 4.5 million children
More than 4.5 million children in remote areas of Africa and Latin America have been given the pentavalent and pneumonia vaccines during the 1st 10 years of the Child Vaccination Programme that the Caixa Foundation shares with Gavi, the vaccine Alliance supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation together with ISGlobal.Some 211,185 donors take part in the programme.
