Diputació launches forest- fire campaign
The Diputació de Barcelona has launched a approach in its campaign for prevention of forest fires. The aim is to raise awareness and increase public perception of the risk of fires, stressing the need for preventive actions in the most vulnerable areas and educating the public on how to protect themselves from fire. Experts belive that fighting fires begins well before they break out and that people more aware of the dangers and consequences will be more willing to be involved in preventative actions.
