Concern for the number of motor cycle deaths

There is concern over the high number of accidents involving motorcycles with 17 riders dead and 78 seriously injured in the first five months of 2018. The Catalan road transit authority, the Mossos d’Esquadra and local police have announced an awareness and prevention campaign aimed at this high-risk group and will stress the need for helmets for both riders and pillion passengers.
