New exports record for March and first quarter
Catalan exports continue to set new records. This past March in particular, with international sales exceeding all previous records, up to an absolute value of €6.7 billion, 26.2% of the total exported from Spain. The figure is not only 0.8% higher than March 2017, but is the highest figure obtained in a single month since the Spanish Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness started keeping records. The first quarter also recorded historic figures, with exports of €18.2 billion, up 3.33% on last year.
