Three more arrests in home assaults
Catalan police have arrested three men, Alberto Rosario Campos, Kelvin Wilson Castro and Francisco Medina of Olio, suspected of being part of the an armed gang involved in violence and robbery in assaulting the residences of business people in the area of Bescanó (Girona). The gang planned the attacks with the assistance of a person who knew the victims well. Police believe that the accomplice was in debt and used his knowledge in exchange for cancelling that debt with members of the gang. Other arrests had been made previously involving the accomplice himself and four other members of the gang. The accomplice, turned informant, was released on bail a month ago. The rest are being held on remand.
