UAB installs biomass boiler for swimming pool
Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) has installed a wood-chip biomass boiler in the sports centre (SAF) at the Bellaterra Campus for general heating and its water facilities, including the pool. The new system provides clean energy and contribute to local forest control and fire prevention. The project spread throughout the Vallès Occidental area also includes the Terrassa Hospital facilities.
