Metropolitan beaches welcome summer season
Summer has arrived at the beaches of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. Yesterday saw the official start of the summer season with an institutional event that took place in Castelldefels. Ramon Torra, Manager of the AMB, highlighted the evolution of metropolitan beaches, emphasising the communal nature of the seafront as a space for all which last year attracted 10.5 million visitors. This year’s promotional campaign is dedicated to the diversity of the citizens and users who enjoy the beaches.
