May proposes new customs agreement
The details are not yet known in full but it would seem that the UK’s Theresa May has proposed yet a 3rd customs agreement with the EU whereby the UK would be responsible for collecting EU excise inside its borders. The idea is not exactly new and in the past was strongly criticised by hard-line pro-Brexit conservatives such as Boris Johnson.
