ANC and Òmnium have already paid €2.1 million bond

The ANC and Òmnium yesterday paid the bond of €2.1 million set by the Supreme Court judge Pablo Llarena for the former members of the Catalan Government for as a guarantee against a possible conviction for embezzlement in the case being brought against them for the October 1 referendum. The money was collected by the two organisations as part of a solidarity fund campaign which has previously been used to pay legal costs. To top up the fund, supporters donated €1,766,391 in just six days following the announcement of the amount of the bond.
