Sanfermin gets underway in festive mood

The 2018 Sanfermin festival began yesterday with a festive atmosphere accompanied by a message in favour of diversity and disability with a ”chupinazo” led by a group of 12 youths with Down syndrome and 9 volunteers. “Pamploneses, pamplonesos, irundarrak Sant Fermí, gora Sant Fermí”, were the words spoken by Ibai Ganuza and Leire Zabalza two of the members of the goup Motxila 21, who were responsible for lighting the fuse that set the emotions ablaze in the city’s famed town square.
