Authorities close 46 cannabis clubs in three years

The Barcelona City Council has closed 46 illegal cannabis establishments in the last three years in the Ciutat Vella. Council inspectors and municipal police have also acted against about 60 premises which were suspected of irregular activities. There are currently 34 establishments that are licensed for this activity in the area. The closures are part of a council crackdown on illegal clubs.
